BioI'm a plant genetics graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, going for my PhD. I'm also interested in science journalism, and I host a radio show/podcast, and maintain a science weblog. I'm particularly interested in how communication meshes with plant genetics, and I think there's a lot of room for someone who cares about food and know about what's in it, to educate the general public on a contentious topic.
